'“A Private View - David Wolfers and the New Grafton Gallery”

It was an enormous honour to have been awarded the David Wolfers scholarship upon graduation at City & Guilds of London Art School. David immediately offered me a solo show which launched my London career. It was such a privilege to be shown by such a respected figure in the London art scene at such a renowned gallery. I valued the devoted patrons and audiences the gallery afforded me and I showed with David until his death in 2001.

David was an enormously kind and erudite man and I was very touched to be included in his career retrospective alongside so many outstanding artists.
